First off I have some exciting news. Starting next Monday I will be co-Hosting the Literacy Musing Mondays. So be sure to stop by and share a link to something you have posted or just stop by and see what every one else has to share.

The weather turned nasty this weekend we had a little snow and a little rain, the rest of the week doesn’t look to be any better. I was really wanting to be able to get in the back yard and get some work done.

We got a few seeds started, I have a few more that I want to get started. We are going to do our garden a little different this year. We want to try some raised beds to see if we have any better luck this year.

I am wanting to expand the back yard to make room for more play area. We had a little break in the weather Sunday evening so Andy bladed out the area. I got plastic laid and some sawdust on top. Now I need to get the sawdust spread out. I am going to build a tire pyramid for the kids to climb on. I will stack the tires and fill with sawdust for them to play on. Then I have an old boat that I will put in the yard and fix up for them to play in. I have several Ideas I want to do this year to make more play area, can’t wait to get them all done.

We had to run to Durango Saturday morning, while we were there we went ahead and had lunch. When we got home I took a nap (hadn’t sleep very well the night before). When I got up I was going to run to town, well I started looking for my phone and realized I left in at the restaurant in Durango, which closes at 4:00 and it was 3:00. Called over there to make sure I had left it there and sure enough I had so I told them I would be there to get it. They were nice enough to say they would wait on me if I was after 4:00 (it’s an hours drive). So I rushed back over there made it a little after 4:00. I guess I need to tie it around my neck since I am always losing it haha. I stopped by the stores on my way home so the rest of the day was shot.

Friday evening we were able to get a couple things taken to the farm action that will be next weekend. (know what we will be doing next weekend)

300 a Month,

Didn’t do too bad this week, I do want to try and start only going to the store once a month, I use to do this and I do so much better when I do. I needed eggs,( trying to decide if I should get more chickens this year we need to completely redo the coop and I don’t know if Andy is going to have time to help with it) tea, half a gallon of milk, Macaroni, turkey lunch meat, Chili powder, Bath tissue, cheap conditioner ( to make fabric softener with).

I spent 29.11 add that to the months 77.32 for 106.43 for the month. That leaves me 193.57 for the month.

Add this to the years 613.67 + 106.43 = 720.10 spent for the year.

That leaves me 2879.90 for the year.It looks pretty good for this time of year come fall through I make up for it since that is when I buy most of my food for the year.

Goals,

And again this week been busy working on taxes so I didn’t get anything in the kitchen, sewing table or fiber arts done this week. More than likely won’t have time for any this week either. Hoping to get the taxes finished this week though. So I will just move on to the daycare.

Daycare,

Last week was spring break so it was a pretty messed up week. I didn’t have a lot of my regular kids and had a few older kids that are normally in school. So we will do this this week instead of last week.

The letter N, Ships and Noah.

Diet and Fitness,

Have been doing my workouts every day I did miss Saturday since we went to Durango and then I had to go back. I am still working on the trainings for the beach body coach, really looking forward to getting this off the ground. I have lost 5 pounds so far. Haven’t done any measurements so not sure on that.

Yard

I am going to start adding the yard into my weekly goals since it is time to get that done. As I said before, we got the area I am wanting to expand cleaned and leveled out, plastic laid and sawdust dumped on it ( the reason I use sawdust is we get it for free and there is a lot of it and it makes a great ground cover). Wanting to finish smoothing out the sawdust this week and get the back patio area cleaned and set up (weather permitting).
