Well if you read my previous post you can see it has been an interesting week. Having the girl’s sister find them was so awesome.

Wednesday we picked up another bottle calf from the sale barn so now I am bottle feeding two calves.

On Saturday we made a quick trip to Olatha to pick up my Mother in Laws camper that she had at some friend for her to stay in when she went down there for music festivals. It is a small camper so I am going to redo it and fix it up for me to use. I will have more on that later.

Sunday we got some of the garden planted and I worked on the yard most of the day.

Worked on fair stuff for part of the week. Have a meeting tonight.

Also been working on the SW Farm to Yarn website hoping to have it up and running the first part of the week.

300 A Month

I bought 5 lbs macaroni, 8 lbs cheese, a gallon of milk,32 pounds strawberries, Andy some ice cream, a couple jars of BBQ sauce ( to use when I can the ham) and I cheated and bought a frozen pizza for Andy’s supper Saturday night.

So I spent 75.06 add that to the month’s total for 172.64 for the month, that leaves me 127.36 for the rest of the month. I have spent 781.23 so far for the year. That leaves me with 2818.77 for the year.

Last weeks goals,

This week I want to finish up the pineapples, get the Magos in the freezer, I also want to get a large ham out of the freezer cook it then can what we don’t get eaten.

I got some of the pineapples done, 20 pints canned so I still have the rest to go will get them finished this week.

I did get the ham cooked and I will get it canned this week also. Haven’t gotten to the Mangos yet. Will get them done this week.

I didn’t get any sewing or fiber arts done this last week since I was spending most of my time working on the website for the SW Farm to Fiber. hoping to work a little on the quilts and wash clothes those this next week.

I got the small side by the backyard and dog kennel cleaned mowed and put together, The gnome garden cleaned and put together. h path between the two yards to the back playground cleaned and flowers planted and hung, and the playground mostly cleaned and ready to use. I do still have a couple things I need to do to it.

This week I want to to get the backyard cleaned and the back patio cleaned and set up. If I have time I would also like to get started in the front yard.

We got a few seeds planted won’t put out plants for another couple weeks. This next week I want to finish getting all the raised beds ready and some of them planted.

What I am reading ( when I can find a few minutes)
I have several things it just depends on my mood at the time as to what I am wanting to read. I love having my tablet since I can download them on there and take it with me to read when I have a few minutes while I am waiting for whatever.

I have a few things I am reading now. I am rereading Tox-Sick by Suzanna Sommers it is about all the toxins in our everyday lives and the effects they are having on our health.

I am also rereading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand I love this book even though it takes forever to read, If I didn’t know better I would think it was written today but it was written in 1957.

I am also reading Game of Thrones I am on the first book.

Trying to get back to daily workouts and not doing very good at it seems there is always something else that needs to be done. Going to try a little harder to get back on a daily routine.
