Week Review, Goals,& Menu

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I can’t believe it is already Monday again this week has gone by so fast.

Monday evening I had a fair board meeting and didn’t get home till 11:30. That made for a very long Tuesday. SO I didn’t get much done Tuesday. On Wednesday my Aunt came to help me with the kids so I could get a few things done outside. I am laying ground cover on part of the playground to keep out the weeds and going to cover it with sawdust. I got a little of it done and a few loads of sawdust hauled then it got too hot so I came in. I also got a lot of my fall stuff from the shed so I can start decorating for fall. ( my favorite time of year). Thursday evening I worked a little in the yard. On Friday I started getting stuff ready for my Sisters Funeral services I have to say planning this has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. She passed away in April but things for her services have been up in the air but we were finally able to take care of it. On Saturday that morning, one of my brothers and I met with the pastor to finalize everything.  Then that afternoon I went to town picked up a few groceries and copied off some pictures. That evening my brother had a Demo Derby appreciation dinner for everyone that helped with the demo derby ( He puts on the Demo Derby during the fair). Stayed their way latter then we should have haha. Sunday Morning, I made a big pot of chili for the dinner after the funeral. We had a small dinner at my Dads afterward. It was a small graveside service and turned out really nice. After the dinner, my brother that is from out of town came over and visited till about 6. After he left I got my chores done and went to bed a little after 8:30 I was worn out and it has been a very very long time since I have gone to be that early.

What I want to know is… Where is the year going, Next Monday is Sept ALREADY!!!!!
I know I have gotten about 1/3 of the things planed for the year done, SO this should be what??? April, NOT the end of Aug.
Thinking at this rate it will be snowing two weeks from now….

    NRP,
I agree it has gone by way to fast. And I have nowhere near everything done that I wanted to get done. I am starting to put up fall stuff and it shouldn’t even be time for that yet.

P.S. we are not talking about snow yet. Although the farmer’s almanac says another winter like last.
