Well, it is finally cooling off, in fact, it is getting darn right cold haha, The garden is all done. We did cover some of the tomatoes in hope that we will be able to get a few more.

 

I caught a bug that has been going around so I didn’t much do this last week. I did take a lot of elderberry tincture so I didn’t get it as bad as Andy and it is going away a lot quicker I am hoping I can make a believer out of him that it does help shorten it.

 

I don’t have the fire cider made yet which I should have started like a month ago. I did get everything I needed to make it with except the horseradish. Mine didn’t come back this year and I didn’t get any planted. Hoping the store will have some soon.

Saturday night my Brother had an 80’s themed party for my Sister in Laws Birthday. It was a lot of fun I dug around in the back of my closet and still had several pairs of Rockies (jeans) I couldn’t fit into them anymore but Katie her friend and my sister in law all could. This is Katie and her friend dressed up. We also decided we are going to host an 80’s themed prom next march for adults and try to make it a yearly event and change up the years every year.

 

I went over to my Aunts Sunday she is helping ( mostly doing it all) me get some family history books put together for Christmas presents this year.

 

We got the woodstove cleaned out and the wood box filled ready to start burning fires which I built one last night, can’t believe it is already time to start building fires.

 

Goals

I didn’t get much done this week since I was feeling under the weather. I was worn out by the time the kids left every evening. I pretty much just did chores and fixed supper. So most of my week’s goals are just going to carry over from last week.

 

Kitchen

I did get 3 gallons of peppers put in the frrezer I still have a small box of them I need to get done. I got one batch of Rotel made just need to get in the canner today. I pulled a turkey out of the freezer that I got last year on sale I will get it cooked today then can what is left. I pulled up the few onions that I grew so I will get them in eh freezer along with some store-bought ones that I have.

I bought some extra store-bought milk so I would have enough to make some yogurt and cream cheese with,

I am going to start making bread again, got out of the habit but need to get started again.

Katie picked me a large bag of apples at a friends so I need to get them worked up.

 

Sewing

I got no sewing done this week so hoping I can finish up the pillows this week and get started on bags.

 

Fiber arts

Didn’t even work on any of these either hopefully get back on track this week.

 

Daycare

This is what I had from last week and didn’t get any of it done so I will hopefully get it done this week

I didn’t get lessons put together over the weekend so I want to get them planned and ready this week. I have a few ideas that I want to do with them so we will do that this week. I want to change out the dramatic play area to a beach. I have everything I need just need to get it put together. I didn’t get it changed out last week so will do it this week. I have got to get the lesson plans done. Just been winging it and it is a pain to do it that way.

 

Yard

Got all the fall stuff put up and mostly ready for winter. I do want to put some seed down before it snows but and going to wait a few weeks before I do that. I do have a few things on the playground that I want to try and get done.

 

Menu,

Breakfast,

  • Toast and bananas
  • waffles
  • Scrambled eggs
  • French Toast
  • Yogurt & Fruit

With this, we will have toast, or whatever sides I want to have with it.

 

Lunch,

  • Cheese quesadillas
  • Mac & Cheese
  • H.M. Burritos
  • PB&J
  • HM PIzza

Will have whatever kind of fruit and vegetables I have,

For Andy’s lunch, he will have leftovers from the night before.

 

Dinner,

  • HM Pizza
  • Potato Soup
  • Meat and Potato Pie
  • Green Chili Enchiladas
  • Saturday night we are going to a BBQ/music pickin

We will have a veggie of some sort, and bread with each meal.
