Some Bad News and Some Good News

So not really sure how to even start this. So guess I will start with the bad news first.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer almost two months ago. I had to close the doors to my daycare. That was not an easy thing to do. I have been doing this for close to 20 years and while I have been wanting to retire this wasn’t how I wanted to do it. I had really wanted to be a little more out of debt before I closed. But apparently, God had other plans for me.

I am going to be doing a youtube channel with updates on what I am doing. I figured this would be the easiest way to update everyone since I have a very large family scattered all across the country and friends that are also scattered about. I will have a link later if anyone is interested. I am going to be going a more natural way, I will also use conventional when and if I need to. I am throwing everything at it that I can.

I have changed my diet, cut out all sugar, carbs, and only very little meat. I am on several supplements a day some over the counter and some prescription in addition to giving myself a shot in the stomach every other day (not as bad as I thought it would be). I will be doing infusions of mistletoe, high vitamin c, and nutrients. I am working on getting an appointment with the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Boulder which is about a 7-hour drive so hopefully, we can get a lot done in one trip.

I am sure I will have to have surgery since the tumor is so large. So trying to prepare myself for that.

This is not a journey I had planned on taking but is one I will meet head-on and come out the other side stronger.

Now for the good news,

Since I had to close the daycare I will have more time to work on the blog. I feel like God has been pushing me to do this blog ( and keep up with it ) for some time now but I have been so busy and have had a hard time finding the time to devote to it. So I feel he gave me this so I would slow down and do what he has asked me to do. I have several things planned. I will be sharing a lot of money-saving ideas, and a lot of what I am doing to save money. I will also be doing a youtube channel where I will share a lot of how-to’s. I am excited for this new phase I am in. I have a lot to share and look forward to sharing it with you all.

A little later on I am going to be opening up a money-saving/mindset course to help people who need a little more one-on-one help to get their budget and finances where they need to be especially since things are getting more expensive every day.

So within the next week or so I will be doing a lot more posting.

I’m so sorry, Connie, my husband and I have been going through the cancer journey too. My husband (soon to be 85) ,God willing has a great team of doctors and is doing very well right now, as am I. Just to put the word out, there is a go fund me for Connie, under the name of Connie Bradshaw. I have been following your blog for years and have been blessed.

I am so sorry that you are having to endure this.
I also hope that you will look into using THC with CBD to destroy this monster.
