I seriously need time to slow down, I can’t believe it is already Monday again. I don’t feel like I got anything done last week. The only meeting I had was on Tuesday the ” Fire Belles ” so I can’t even say I had in meetings all week.

I did go to a Word Press workshop in Durango Saturday morning. It was great I met some really wonderful people and I was able to get some help on a couple things that I was needing for the Fair and the SW Farm to Fiber websites I am putting together. After that, I met Joleen and Katie for lunch for Mothers Day since Joleen had to work Sunday. They got me this bracelet for Mothers day I just love it. I am always too cheap to buy myself any Montana Silver jewelry so I guess they decided they needed to haha. Isn’t it pretty?

Sunday we had dinner at my Mom’s for Mothers Day. I made some sugar scrub cubes for all the Mom’s in my Family and I gave them all a rose bush. I tried to make some shower melts, complete failure haha, those are something I am going to have to work on.

300 a Month,

I had to take a salad for dinner Sunday so I took a broccoli salad ( I will post the recipe tomorrow). So I had to get stuff for it, Broccoli, raisins, red onion, and some almond slivers, I also needed to get some lettuce, cabbage, sour cream, strawberries, Almond milk, Borax, Chai tea, dates, and several mangos that were on sale. For the daycare I got a couple loves of bread, bananas, and a couple cans of cheap biscuits to make donuts for the kids with.

All together I spent 52.07, add that to the 45.51 already spent for the month for a total of 97.58 for the month. That leaves me with 202.42 for the month. I have spent 706.17 for the year and that leaves me 2893.83 for the year.

Kitchen

Last weeks goals
I am wanting to get the pineapples canned. Haven’t been able to yet waiting for them to get ripe. Need to get dandelion jelly and juice made ( juice for salves and soap), My lilacs are blooming for the first time in 5 years (woohoo)  so I will be making some lilac jelly.

I wasn’t able to get the pineapples canned will do that today. I did get some dandelion juice put in the freezer, I don’t think I am going to have enough to make jelly with this year.

This week I want to finish up the pineapples, get the Magos in the freezer, I also want to get a large ham out of the freezer cook it then can what we don’t get eaten.

Herbs,

I am going to start adding this since there are several things I need to be doing with herbs. This week I want to get some Dandelion tincture made.

Sewing Table,

Last weeks goals

Want to work on the girl’s quilts. I have Katies all cut out and several strips sewn so hope to get the rest of the strips sewn then cut and pieced together.

Didn’t get a chance to work on this. I did get a shirt mended for Andy but that was it as far as sewing. Want to work on the quilt this week.

Fiber Arts,

Last Weeks Goals

Still working on wash clothes I want to get a lot made up so that is what I am working on in the evenings.

Did a little work on these and hope to continue this week.

Yard work

Last weeks Goals
Don’t even know where to start I have soo much that needs to be done, We were able to get a few raised beds put together so I want to get them planted this week. I need to get the backyard and playground area cleaned and ready for the kids to use. If I have time I need to get the herb area cleaned ( I know still haven’t got that done).

Didn’t even get out to do anything in the yard part of the reason being the dang wind it has been so windy it makes it hard to get anything done outside.

Fitness

Last Weeks Goals

I am back to working out pretty much took all of last month off. So wanting to keep up on that. I am back on my diet that to has suffered for the past month ( Actually it has suffered since the first of the year haha).

 Been better about the eating and was able to get in 4 workouts this week.

What I am reading
I have several things it just depends on my mood at the time as to what I am wanting to read. I love having my tablet since I can download them on there and take it with me to read when I have a few minutes while I am waiting for whatever.

I have a few things I am reading now. I am rereading Tox-Sick by Suzanna Sommers it is about all the toxins in our everyday lives and the effects they are having on our health.

I am also rereading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand I love this book even though it takes forever to read, If I didn’t know better I would think it was written today but it was written in 1957.

I am also reading Game of Thrones I am on the first book.

Music
We have started taking a little different approach to my lessons instead of trying to do several things I am going to focus on one or two since my practice time is limited this way hopefully I can get it down a little better.

Menu,

Breakfast

  • Ham ( Didn’t grt this cooked last week)
To these, I will add a vegetable and appropriate side.
