Update (1900): The NHC is reporting a total of 9,692 coronavirus cases across China, up from 7,711 yesterday, an increase of 1,982 cases, and a total of 213 deaths, up from 170, the biggest daily increase so far.

A total of 102,427 people are now under medical observation in China. Suspected cases surged by over 3,000 from 12,167 to 15,238..

And remember these are the numbers that the Chinese government is giving us. And all the information, tweets and videos from inside China say it is way worse then we are being told.

The WHO declared a global pandemic today so I want to bring up something a lot of you may have not thought of.

How much stuff do you use daily that comes from China? What about the stuff from here (US) that have some parts or pieces that come from China? I am going to guess a lot.

Well, something to think about the fact that almost all of China is now quarantined so basically all shut down even several loading docks are shut down with others just open a few hours. With our just in time deliveries how long till we start running out of things. A lot of prescriptions and meds are also manufactured over there. How full is your prescription and are stocked up on over the counter meds especially flu meds?

So OK you don’t buy much, or anything from China. The dog food we buy doesn’t come from China so we should be good and not have to worry about that WRONG if there isn’t the stuff from China available people are going to buy whatever there is. So our dog food will also be hard to come by. Not to mention that the sacks that it comes in is more than likely made in China.

Now, let’s throw a wrench into the whole works. Remember all the crop losses last summer and fall? How about all the cattle deaths and all the meat recalls every time we turn around? I think things are about to get a little scary and a little on the tight side.

Please get seeds and whatever staples/essentials you can afford now and if nothing happens and everything goes back to being great you can still use the stuff you bought so no great loss you just won’t have to go shopping for a while.

I pray we don’t get as bad as China but please please be ready if we do. Have enough food and supplies for a couple of months or more. Another thing to think about if we do have to go into quarantine will there be people show up to work the water plants and where do the chemicals come from that they treat the water with?

There are so many people out there who think that this is no big deal. It is a big deal and it is way worse then sars, swine flu, and the flu. I have heard a lot of people say that this is no big deal that the flu has killed more and is worse than the coronavirus here are some numbers to show just how wrong that is

These numbers are from yesterday and I would imagine they have changed by now and not for the better. You can see the whole chart here

Case Fatality Rate (CFR)
  • Flu =0.1%
  • nCoV=3% or higher
RO (transmission rate)
  • Flu=1.28
  • nCoV=2.5-3.5
Serious Complication rate (ICU bed requirement)
  • Flu ‹1%
  • nCoV=20%

So as you can see this is a lot more serious than the common flu.

So with all that said please make sure you can survive for an extended time with what you have. Get a jump on things because once the masses realize things are worse then they were told it is going to be a panic and a run on the stores.

If money is tight and you can’t afford much get the basics go back and visit all of January’s deep pantry challenges to see what to get. try to get at least a couple of months worth of supplies. Tomorrow I will put a list together of what to get if money is super tight and you can only get a small amount of things.

Please take this serious, I really really hope I am wrong but I would rather be wrong and prepared than right and not prepared.

    Good follow up;
I have been following this rather closely.
over 17,000 infected as of last report I have heard this morning.
One week ago the report was 2700..
    DO THE MATH people.
Please get a few supplies together and prepare. This could really get bad.
Honestly I don’t get to fired up about “The Sky is Falling”, there are millions of “what/if’s” out there, hence I live a lifestyle.
BUT I just don’t have a good handle on this one…. and THAT makes me worried.

      NRP,
      Thanks,
I agree also, get things stocked up. I am the same way don’t really get worked up about much but this has me very very concerned and like you say since we don’t have a handle on it and it is unexplored territory ( bioweapon status with HIV inserted ) If you haven’t been going to https://peakprosperity.com/ and want to get a little more worried go watch as his daily updates. It really irritates me how the MSM is downplaying all this because when it all hits it is going to be ugly( be it the economic, supply shortages, the virus or all three).

      And on that note haha
      Have a great day

        NRP,
One more thing I shared this on FB and they censored it haha. A friend of mine was looking for it again and couldn’t find it. I was wondering why I wasn’t getting the traffic to it like I did the first one. Never been censored before hahaha.

          Connie;
I visit peakprosperity often, his work is frightening for sure.

Something to ponder, if even F-Book is down playing this, imagine how bad this really is…
