We eat a lot of brownies, well not as much as we did when the girls were home but still quite a few. This is as easy as a store-bought mix but so so much better. And it is handy when you want to quickly mix up a batch of brownies because honestly there isn’t anything much better than homemade brownies.
MYO Brownie Mix
10 Cups Sugar
8 Cups Flour or ( 4 cups Wheat Flour & 4 cups White Flour )
4 ½ Cups Cocoa powder or ( 2 ½ cups cocoa powder & 2 ½ cups Carob powder )
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 ½ Teaspoons Salt
Optional 4 ½ cups chopped nuts
Mix in a large bowl, makes 6 batches
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
To make
3 ¾ cup of mix add
¾ cup melted butter
2 TBL. Water
2 Large eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
Mix well pour in a 9×13 well-greased pan
Bake at 350 for 18 to 25 minutes.
I like to use half whole wheat flour and half white flour. I also on occasion will use half carob powder and half cocoa powder. I did this more when cocoa was so expensive it does give it a slightly different taste though. But not bad.
Being Saturday Night I figured I’d give this a try……
OK I just gained 35 pounds LOLOL
Fantastic Connie, thank you
