I want to wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Happy New Year. I also want to thank each and every one of you who take the time to come and read my blog, I appreciate each and every one of you. If I can help just one person with something then that makes this so worth it. I love being able to share what little I know and interacting with all who leave comments.

I will be taking the next week off and will be back after the new year. I have some new things in store for the new year. I am going to do more of the “Frugal living challenge” along with a lot more MYO and DIY. I will also be doing the “300 a month challenge” but will be changing it up just a bit. The “Deep Pantry” challenge will be back  I will also be changing it up a little and will be focusing a little more on skills this year. And if time permits I will start the “Wednesday Herbals” again I hope to be able to do it every week but if not at least every other week. I have some great new ideas for this coming year.

From all the indicators out there this next year we may suffer an economic downturn. I really hope it is not this year. I know we are due for one ( usually about every 7 years there is one, even if it is a small one) and we are a few years late and they are saying that the next one is going to be really really bad. I want to help you ( and myself ) to get ready for if it when it happens so you can rest a little easier knowing you have some food put back and have some skills to manage on a very limited income. Not trying to be a grinch or a Debbie Downer I just want to make sure my readers are ready for it.
